Sick of our apartment building's slow-ass elevators, I acquire a habit of leaving the lanai door unlocked, purchasing helium balloons on my way home from work and riding a handful of them up to our balcony every evening. We run into N--- H------ at a restaurant and I ask him if he thinks this practice will negatively affect my odds of getting into PhD programs.
