I suddenly find myself about to proceed with a major life event. Since I did in fact find myself in the situation suddenly and did not have time to give any consideration to what's going on, I tell my mom I am going to stop the event.
"Oh really?" she says. "Well, why don't you just go ahead and tell that to your Aunt Kristi who flew in all the way from Mexico."
